We are looking for a highly experienced Senior Data Engineer / Data Scientist to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of data engineering principles, data science methodologies, and advanced analytics. This role requires expertise in big data technologies, data modeling, machine learning, and cloud computing solutions, along with a proven track record of delivering impactful data-driven insights.
Key Responsibilities :
Design, build, and maintain scalable data pipelines using modern ETL frameworks.
Implement data models and architectures to support data processing and analytics.Optimize data storage solutions in cloud environments (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) for performance and scalability.Ensure data quality, integrity, and security throughout the data lifecycle.Data Science & Analytics :Develop and deploy machine learning models to solve complex business problems and enhance decision-making.
Conduct exploratory data analysis to uncover trends, patterns, and insights from large datasets.Collaborate with business stakeholders to define analytical requirements and deliver actionable insights.Communicate findings and recommendations clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences.Collaboration & Leadership :Lead cross-functional teams in the design and implementation of data-driven solutions.
Mentor and coach junior data engineers and data scientists, fostering a culture of learning and innovation.Drive data strategy initiatives and contribute to the establishment of best practices in data engineering and data science.Research & Development :Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in data science, machine learning, and big data technologies.
Experiment with new tools and methodologies to continuously improve data processes and analytics capabilities.Required Qualifications :
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Statistics, or a related field.10 years of experience in data engineering, data science, or a related field.Strong expertise in programming languages such as Python, R, or Java.Proficiency in big data technologies (e.g., Hadoop, Spark) and data processing frameworks.Deep understanding of machine learning algorithms and frameworks (e.g., TensorFlow, Scikit-learn).Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., Azure, AWS, Google Cloud) and data warehousing solutions (e.g., Snowflake, Redshift).Preferred Qualifications :
Advanced certifications in data engineering, data science, or cloud technologies (e.g., Google Cloud Professional Data Engineer, Microsoft Certified : Azure Data Scientist Associate).Experience with containerization and orchestration tools (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).Familiarity with data governance, data privacy laws, and compliance standards.
