Assistant Vice President, Technology Project Management

The Assistant Vice President IT Project Management Operations (PMO) is responsible for facilitating a team that is delivering on an IT program or set of complex IT projects. As the AVP IT PMO, you will define and prioritize program and project objectives, critical success factors, and deliverables.

The Assistant VP IT PMO will:

• Build and maintain relationships with project owners, business stakeholders, resource leaders, technical and business teams
• Create a shared focus on the importance of achieving results within the team
• Manage life cycle of projects with traditional software development and Agile principles for strategic projects that range in scope, budget and size, involving significant levels of risk and complexity
• Oversee business requirement gathering, system requirement creation, and documentation
• Apply elements of the project management discipline at a high level of rigor, appropriate to the program or project
• Identify critical-path decisions, make recommendations, and influence outcomes to ensure project advancement
• Perform other related duties as required and assigned
• Demonstrate behaviors which are aligned with the organization’s desired culture and values

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience
• 5 years of experience in IT, quality, product management, engineering, or operations
• 3 years of experience with large-scale project management phases, techniques and tools
• Proficient in PowerPoint, Excel, Word and Visio, and multi-tier application development (user interfaces, application, database)

Compensation: Individual salary may vary based on multiple factors including specific role, geographic location / market data, and skills and experience as defined below:

• Lower in range - Building skills and experience in the role
• Mid-range - Experience and skills align with proficiency in the role 
• Higher in range - Experience and skills add value above typical requirements of the role 

Some roles may be eligible for performance-based compensation and/or stock-based incentives awarded to employees based on company and individual performance. 

Salary : $90,000 - $150,000
