A Typical Day
The Assistant Vice President Sales Training - Third Party Origination is responsible for planning and managing divisional training activities, ensuring operations run smoothly, especially as it relates to technology rollouts, people and projects. As the AVP Sales Training, you will ensure deliverables are well coordinated and fulfilled in accordance with management expectations and quality standards.
The Assistant VP Sales Training will:
- Lead the creation, implementation and maintenance of training processes and activities, including development, policies & procedures, regulatory updates, best practices, reporting, and more
- Provide guidance to designated associates on sales-related activities, including wholesale sales, underwriting, management and training in both the retail and wholesale mortgage channels
- Determine and maintain protocol and best practice for documentation, formats, updates and dissemination
- Manage divisional Training calendar to provide visibility to leadership on upcoming deliverables and changes
- Review and maintain current training materials to ensure compliance with changing legislation, agency guidelines, current events, etc.
- Perform other related duties as required and assigned
- Demonstrate behaviors which are aligned with the organization’s desired culture and values
What You’ll Bring

Compensation: Individual salary may vary based on multiple factors including specific role, geographic location / market data, and skills and experience as defined below:
- Lower in range - Building skills and experience in the role
- Mid-range - Experience and skills align with proficiency in the role
- Higher in range - Experience and skills add value above typical requirements of the role
Some roles may be eligible for performance-based compensation and/or stock-based incentives awarded to employees based on company and individual performance.
