The First Vice President of Core Services is a critical leadership role responsible for defining and executing multi-product cloud architectures, strategic roadmaps, and engineering best practices. This leader will build, standardize, and evangelize cloud engineering solutions, ensuring they are leveraged across multiple product teams to enhance reliability, automation, and developer efficiency.
Responsibilities
- Lead and manage a highly skilled cloud engineering team, providing technical direction, career development, and mentorship.
- Drive the execution of strategic cloud initiatives, ensuring alignment with business goals, security requirements, and operational efficiency.
- Collaborate with key stakeholders across infrastructure, security, development, and DevOps teams to ensure a seamless cloud engineering strategy.
Requirements
- 10 years of experience in cloud engineering, with at least 5 years managing technical teams.
- Deep expertise in AWS, including multi-account management, security, networking, and financial oversight.
- Proven experience in re-architecting AWS implementations, optimizing cloud spend, and driving vendor management & investment strategy.
