We are seeking a highly skilled First Vice President, Assistant General Counsel, Litigation to manage nationwide federal and state court litigation involving Pennymac family companies and their officers, directors, and employees. This role will work closely with outside counsel on mortgage-related litigation and settlement strategy, review pleadings and motions, approve attorney invoices, prepare reporting, and interact with all levels of management within the organization.

Must be a licensed attorney, preferably in CA or TX. Must have experience in business litigation, preferably mortgage servicing-related defense litigation. Knowledge of labor and employment law is preferred.

- Review and revise pleadings and motions.
- Work with counsel and in-house management on litigation and settlement strategy.
- Assist with discovery and preparation for trials, arbitrations, and mediations.
- Review appellate briefs.
