The Pennyrile Area Development District (PADD) is looking for a dedicated and detail-oriented Program Support Specialist to join our Veteran Directed Care (VDC) team. This vital position supports the day-to-day operations of the VDC program, helping ensure that veterans receive timely, high-quality services that support their independence and dignity.

Key Responsibilities:
- Provide administrative and operational support to the Veteran Directed Care team.
- Assist with intake processing, scheduling, documentation, and follow-up communication.
- Maintain accurate records in program management systems and track multiple program requirements and communications.
- Respond to inquiries from veterans, caregivers, and partner agencies with professionalism and empathy.
- Assist with the preparation of reports, documentation and audits.
- Coordinate communications between internal staff, the Veterans Administration Medical Center (VAMC), and partnering agencies.
- Support onboarding and training processes for new clients as needed.
- Help organize and facilitate team meetings and trainings.
Qualifications:
- Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Human Services, Social Work, or related field preferred.
- Minimum 1–2 years of administrative support or program coordination experience, preferably in a human services or healthcare setting.
- Experience working with veterans, older adults, or individuals with disabilities is a plus.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong attention to detail, organization, and ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Excellent Computer Skills
