EMERGENCY SERVICES CLINICIAN/Therapist/LCSW/LPCC
REPORTING/COORDINATING RELATIONSHIP: Program Manager of Emergency Services
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES: None
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
1) Intake, screening, crisis intervention services, emergency assessments, psychosocial assessments, and referrals at the facility or through tele-health, responding within an hour of request for emergency services.
2) Complete assessments for appropriate client disposition (i.e. admission to crisis, 202A, jail triage, warrantless arrest, psychosocials for other programs as needed.)
3) Provide therapeutic services such as individual, family, and/or group therapy to clients in crisis situation.
4) Consultation, education, networking with community agencies in the region to include law enforcement, industry, hospitals, jails, and Department of Community Based Services.
5) Participate on a multi-disciplinary team in emergency services with emphasis on providing clients with least restrictive services and/or referrals.
6) Work collaboratively with staff at Western State Hospital and Pennyroyal Center to develop strategies to reduce admissions to Western State Hospital and serve clients in least restrictive ways.
7) Participate in staff conferences/treatment team meetings.
8) Provide therapeutic interventions to victims of community crisis/disaster situations as needed.
9) Clinician will be required to work irregular hours and work as a team with other Emergency
Services clinicians to provide coverage 24/7.
10) Travel to areas with the region as needed.
11) Complete all required documentation according to agency policies and procedures.
12) Assist other emergency services staff (i.e. RESPOND, Crisis Case Managers) as needed.
13) Other duties as required/assigned.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
Minimum of either (1) Master's degree in clinical or counseling psychology with Kentucky licensure as a psychological associate; (2) Master's in social work with Kentucky licensure as an LCSW (or CSW working toward LCSW with proper supervision and experience); or (3) others who meet QMHP qualifications.
Must have reliable transportation, valid driver's license, and present proof of automobile insurance. Must pass a legally required Criminal Records Check and a Sexual Offender Registry check. Must provide proof of a recent (less than 1-year-old) TB skin test.

Pay: $50,000.00 - $60,000.00 per year
