In this dynamic role, you’ll support individuals residing in transitional housing by providing compassionate support, ensuring safe and sanitary living conditions, and connecting tenants with essential services. You’ll foster a supportive environment where residents are empowered to achieve greater stability and independence. Schedule : Per-diem, flexible schedule could include nights and weekends (NOTE : Shift differential available for some shifts)

Highlights of the position :
- Engages directly with individuals seeking residential housing services, fostering a supportive community atmosphere and treating all humans with kindness, dignity, and respect.
- Is a good steward of confidentiality and discretion. Collects, completes, processes, and files all applicable intake documents for tenants, maintaining a thorough understanding of all necessary documentation.
- Assists tenants with reasonable requests and connects them to services and resources as appropriate.
- Provides consistent oversight of tenants, addressing behavioral and / or safety concerns in alignment with policies. Responds to and manages crisis situations with established protocols, prioritizing tenant safety and well-being.
- Performs basic housekeeping and additional support functions, including but not limited to :
- Preparing rooms for new tenants
- Ensuring shared spaces are clean, sanitary, and well-maintained.
- Distributing meals to tenants, ensuring timely service and equitable access.
- Collaborates to ensure services are mission-focused. Continuously looks to seek improvement and implement best practices.
