Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Packaging Operator to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring that products are packaged efficiently and in compliance with all relevant regulations. You will work in a fast-paced environment, utilizing your skills to operate machinery and handle packaging materials while adhering to safety standards.
Responsibilities
- Operate packaging machinery and equipment, including forklifts and hand tools, to package products accurately.
- Perform routine minor maintenance on packaging equipment, demonstrating light mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot issues as they arise.
- Work efficiently, adhering to quality, and safety standards.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area in accordance with procedure and practices.
- Collaborate with team members to meet production goals and deadlines.
Experience
- Previous experience in a warehouse or manufacturing environment is preferred.
- Familiarity with packaging processes, including the use of logic controllers, is a plus.
- Mechanical aptitude with the ability to operate various hand tools effectively.
- Forklift certification is advantageous but not mandatory; training may be provided.
