Financial Aid Advisor
The Financial Aid Advisor advises students and parents on the financial aid process. The Financial Aid Advisor prepares institutional scholarship applications for review and for applicants regarding the Fourth Year Tuition-Free program. The Financial Aid Advisor coordinates scholarship committees. The Advisor communicates with all students regarding the enrollment process and financial aid process and manages data and trends for various financial aid processes and committees.
Communications
Professionally initiates conversations with students and parents regarding financial aid opportunities and financial transactions. Competently answers questions pertaining to the Admissions enrollment stages and other financial aid options. Communicate with internal departments and external academic representatives regarding student information and financial transactions. Accurately send effective campaigns by way of phone, email, or text for missing scholarship and Fourth Year Tuition-Free data.
Database / Data Entry
Efficiently and accurately enter and evaluate trends for missing financial aid information into the college's databases for all digital transactions sent. Send digital transactions to applicants and parents for financial forms. Build and maintain reports for daily workflow and missing information. Update email templates and financial forms on Salesforce.
Project Planning
Actively plan for the start of the semesters. Analyze trends and plan to initiate awareness for missing forms. Coordinate with other departments regarding Canvas and registration holds each semester for missing enrollment forms and data. Accurately assist with summer work check-in events and welcome weekends. Review and research financial aid opportunities and provide recommendations. Coordinates meetings regarding financial aid and assists with proposals as needed.
Financial Aid Processes
Efficiently process scholarship applications and Fourth Year Tuition-Free offers in a timely manner. Accurately navigate databases to ensure consistency of information is recorded. Efficiently process financial transactions to enforce PCC's related financial policies.
