Scenic Artist
The Scenic Artist 1 is responsible is to assist with the preparation of all the visual elements of College events. The Artist assists with event construction, manages minor programs, supervises workers, and maintains the painting area and inventory of the Scene Shop.
Prepare for Events
Design the sets for minor College productions and events. Assist in researching period architecture and props when preparing designs. Assist in the set construction and in preparing the backdrops needed for each production (painting or digital). Assist with the setup and tear down of events when needed.
Manage Programs
Act as the Program Manager for all Sunday Reflections. Manage and assist with setup and design of the sets.
Supervise Workers
Assists in the training of the students in all aspects of set dressing. Help supervise during the set dressing phase of an event with the other staff.
Manage General Responsibilities
Assist in maintaining the paint shop, inventory, and the Styrofoam area. Complete training in specialized equipment and train others on the equipment.

College Degree : Studio Art (Required), Master's Degree : Graphic Design, Master's Degree : Studio Art, Master's Degree : Theatre
Work Experience

3D design software, Ability to lift 50 pounds, Adobe Creative Cloud, Artistic Painting, Color Matching, Design Principles, Flexible hours, including nights and weekends, Photography, Sculpting, Video Production, Working at Heights, Work long hours
