We are seeking a friendly and efficient Cashier/Receptionist to join our team. Responsibilities
- Greet customers warmly and assist them with inquiries.
- Operate cash registers and Point of Sale (POS) systems accurately.
- Process sales transactions efficiently while ensuring proper cash handling procedures.
- Provide support to customers by answering questions about products and services.
- Answering and routing all incoming calls via multi-line phone system.
- Greeting Customers and directing them to salespeople on the floor.
- Operating Cash register
- Credit card transactions
- Balancing cash drawers and reconciling credit card transactions at the end of each day.
- Receipt of incoming and outgoing daily mail
- Help with mailing of monthly statements.
- Maintain cleanliness of front cashier area.
- Keep the front sales area clean and stocked with supplies used in the course of business.
Qualifications
- Proficient in basic math skills for accurate cash handling.
- Familiarity with cash registers and POS systems is a plus.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively with customers and team members.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Must have cashier experience
- Must be neat and clean in appearance
- Must be reliable and punctual
- Must have good communication skills
- Must speak clear English
- Must be able to multi-task and adapt to every changing priority while providing the best possible customer service in a friendly, accurate and professional manner
- Must have computer skills
