Pediatric Phone Nurse Duties:
- Provide nurse phone triage
- Schedule patient appointments
- Educate and assist patients
- Order labs and follow up on lab tests
- Call in prescriptions and refills
- Obtain drug and Medicaid supplement authorizations
- Maintain IV Therapy qualification
- Perform Urine Catheterization
- Obtain STAT authorizations/referrals
Pediatric Phone Nurse Qualifications:
- Prior medical office experience is preferred
- Valid FL Nursing License (RN/LPN)
- Ability to work under stressful situations
- Excellent computer skills
