Job Description : Position Summary :
Penske Logistics is looking for an Inventory Clerk to become part of an excellent team. This is a great opportunity for individuals who are safety conscious and have a pleasant and outgoing attitude who want to excel in a warehouse environment.
Employees under the direction of the inventory control manager will assist in keeping an accurate inventory ensuring the system inventory in the WMS matches the physical inventory stored at the facility. This requires individuals to utilize various inventory control systems.
Pay :
20.00 plus $1.00 shift differential
Schedule :
Monday-Thursday 4 : 30 pm - 2 : 30 am

Duties and Responsibilities :
Ensuring system count matches physical inventoryResolve discrepancies at location and pallet levelLook for missing product in storage locationsUpdate WMS to match physical through various methodsResearch and document root causeEnsuring proper rotation of productAnalyze reports to identify rotation issuesEnsure rotation physically moved as requiredResearch and document root causeAccurately receive inventoryWork with checkers to ensure accurate receipt of inventoryAudit inbound receipts, both physically and through receipt documentationsAccurately induct x-dock into inventoryData setup and validationAccurately input required data elements into WMS and various other applicationsAudit existing data for inaccurate dataManage unsalable inventory to resolutionAccurately document information on product recalls, including physically segregating as required.Work with procurement on product expiration and product holds to final resolutionAccurately record dump / donate and other product dispositionsEnsure appropriate signage accurately located in distribution centerProcess analysis and documentationWork with inventory management to document and train inventory procedures to warehouse operationAssist with daily and weekly reportsAssist in development and implementation of special projects and tasksAll other tasks as assignedQualifications :
Ability to follow work procedures and safety rulesRead, write, understand and speak EnglishAbility to handle multiple tasks independently with precise detail and follow-up reporting.Must have knowledge of computers and ability to learn WMS and various internal applicationsMust use handheld computers / scannersOperate various material handling equipment; occasionally moving product in warehouseRegular, predictable, full attendance is an essential function of the jobWillingness to travel as necessary, work the required schedule, work at the specific location required, complete Penske employment application, submit to a background investigation (to include past employment, education, and criminal history) and drug screening are required.Physical Requirements :
