Job Description :
A Penske Logistics Shipping and Receiving Clerk monitors delivery schedules to assure timely delivery of materials and products to customer locations. Manage time sensitive information and transactions in order to ensure on-time delivery by tracking shipments for pick-up, estimating times of arrival and delivery, and recovering loads when necessary. Candidate must have proven communication with a strong focus on internal and external customer service to meet business needs.

Control the flow of work within the facility to meet receiving and departure times while maintaining accuracy.Must be able to multi-task in a high paced environment while being detail orientedMust be able to prioritize and adjust to immediate workload requirementsCommunicate effectively to the team, customer, and other process partners via radio, phone, and emailTroubleshoot any associate needs with system issues and / or equipment problemsAssist with daily / weekly operational reportsAbility to learn new skills and take on additional responsibilitiesWork as a member of a team, accomplish team goals and meet warehouse metricsMaintain professionalism with management and co-workersOther projects and tasks assigned by supervisor2 years of shipping and receiving office experience preferredHigh School diploma or equivalent requiredAdvanced computer skills including Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint requiredBlue Yonder / JDA experience preferredRegular, predictable, full attendance is an essential function of the jobWillingness to travel as necessary, work the required schedule, work at the specific location required, complete Penske employment application, submit to a background investigation (to include past employment, education, and criminal history) and drug screening.Physical Requirements :
