Role Overview: As the Import/Export & Warehouse Coordinator, you will play a critical role in managing day-to-day logistics operations at our Wheeling, IL location. Acting as a key point of contact for clients, agents, and as an assistant to the Site Lead, you will help streamline the coordination of shipments, inventory, and operational tasks to ensure smooth and efficient logistics workflows.
Key Responsibilities:
Inventory & Stock Management: Monitor and maintain optimal inventory levels, ensuring the smooth flow of stock and supplies.
Shipment Coordination: Schedule and prepare domestic and international export shipments, working with airlines to ensure timely and accurate dispatches.
Logistics Coordination: Collaborate with domestic and international agents to arrange shipping solutions, update milestones, and resolve issues promptly.
Client & Stakeholder Liaison: Act as the primary point of contact with agents, brokers, and Penta offices to arrange, track, and manage shipments.
Overseas Delivery Coordination: Ensure compliance with all legal, customs, and regulatory requirements for international deliveries.
Client Support: Work with the team to proactively address client needs and provide effective solutions for logistics-related queries.
Operational Support: Implement changes and improvements as approved by the Site Manager to enhance operational efficiency.
Temperature-Controlled Unit Monitoring: Assist in managing logs and reports for temperature-controlled units to ensure optimal conditions.
Site Manager Backup: Provide support to the Site Manager, acting as a backup when required.
Compliance: Adhere to and enforce GDP (Good Distribution Practice) guidelines as per company SOPs, ensuring all office and warehouse activities align with these standards.
Quality Assurance: Ensure the accuracy, quality, and compliance of all records and documents, upholding the company's quality control standards.
Salary : $42,000 - $48,000
