Basic Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree in an Engineering (e.g., Electrical, Computer, Aerospace) or closely related field
• 5 years' experience in Missile or Space programs
• Highly proficient in the full Software/ systems engineering lifecycle.
• Demonstrated and advanced capability in requirements and verification (including writing requirements, requirement engineering, requirements management, and verification).
• Relevant experience in requirements, interfaces, verification, and integration
• Full understanding of the interdependencies of the Systems Engineering “V”
• DOORS requirements management database tool familiarity
• Strong verbal and written communication skills to build effective relationships across organizations and disciplines (electrical, mechanical, thermal, software), and with customers
Desired Skills:
• 8 years of relevant software/systems engineering.
• Highly effective communication skills, including ability to explain complex concepts, lead reviews, and negotiate requirements.
• Experience integrating across functional organizations.
• Cameo experience
• Demonstrated MBSE experience on a program
• Full understanding of BI-direction Requirement traceability
• MS Office software including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and/or Project.
• Experience with DOORS, DOORS Next, or other requirement management tool.
• Self-starter, able to complete work without under consultive direction.
• Experience working with the MDA exposure is highly desired.
• Requires up to 50% travel
