Assembly Operator -Mechanical

Join us as an Assembly Operator in our Ashland, OH facility.

You will be building pumps, pump power units, along with repairing customer pumps and accessories working from blueprints and diagrams.

You will:

• Assemble complete units or sub-assemblies of pumps, including bolting, pinning, and screwing of machined parts. This also requires adjusting, fitting, aligning, deburring, grinding, and preparing unit for paint
• Prepare work order forms on customer returned pumps or other pumps and pump power units and list parts that need to be replaced with time estimates required for repair
• Troubleshoot and repair a wide variety of customers defective or discontinued pumps along with power units and accessories. Along with dismantling, repairing, or replacing defective parts as required
• You will work from blueprints, method cards, wiring diagrams, parts list and verbal instructions to assemble and repair pumps and accessories
• You will perform all testing of completed units
• Must be able to read blueprints and diagrams, be mechanically inclined and have a great attention for detail. Prior mechanical assembly experience is required

Position hours/shifts (Overtime Available!):

• 1st: 7:00am - 3:30pm
• 2nd: 3:30pm - 12:00am
• 3rd: 11:00pm - 7:00am
• Must be able to work all shifts.

Physical Requirements:

Physical requirements are standing, walking, twisting at the waist, lifting, and lowering weights up to 50lbs.

Compensation:

The hourly pay for this role is: $26.92/hr.
