We have an opportunity for a Quality Engineer to join our Moorpark, CA team. You will be responsible for ensuring compliance for product requirements which lead to customer satisfaction. The Quality Engineer is also responsible for driving continuous improvement which provides enhanced Quality to our customers.
You will:
- Apply quality system elements as necessary to achieve and continuously improve the quality objectives (DOE's, Poka-yokes, etc.)
- Ensure compliance with all aspects of the Quality Management System by executing audits and conducting follow-up corrective actions to maintain and improve the system, both internally and externally
- Participate in product and process planning/design, gage design and service development. Perform all quality PCO/PCR reviews. Drive compliance to Control Plans & PPAP's
- Evaluate process capability and apply appropriate statistical techniques and control methods to meet quality, performance, and cost objectives.
- Apply appropriate tools to give feedback to operators and ensure control of key process and product characteristics.
- Maintain regulatory agency requirements (including control and record keeping of all correspondence, testing results, certificates, and regular reviews) as required for certification.
Key Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in engineering or equivalent, i.e., CQE
- 5 years in similar role as a Quality Engineer
- Supplier validation and qualification experience
- Manufacturing environment experience, including part and product validation.
- Lean Environment & Implementation experience a plus
- Electrical and electronics experience a plus.
- Mini-Tab experience a plus
- Able to communicate effectively in the English language. Bilingual (Spanish/English) a plus
Compensation:
For this full-time position working at this location, the anticipated annualized base pay range will be from $71000 - $131800 / year. At Pentair, it is not typical for an individual to be hired near the bottom or top of the pay range. Pentair considers various factors in determining actual compensation for this position at the expected location. Actual compensation will be commensurate with demonstrable level of experience and training, pertinent education including licensure and certifications, work location, and other relevant business or organizational needs.
This position may be eligible for other forms of compensation such as, annual incentive bonus..
