Benefits Coordinator – Golden Valley, MN Team

We have an opportunity for a Benefits Coordinator to join our Golden Valley, MN team. You will perform daily leave administrative activities and prepare billing and funding information for payment of claims and plan expenses.
You will:
- Administer all aspects of employee leave programs, coordination of majority of administrative aspects of cases and claims.
- Communicate leave of absence approvals, denials, return to work and other essential information to employees, managers, and human resources contacts.
- Provide guidance to employees as it relates to leaves of absence.
- Maintain complete and accurate records of leave of absence requests in accordance with appropriate requirements and ensure that required documentation is gathered and tracked in accordance with all leave of absence process steps, while preserving confidentiality of documentation and files.
- Act as liaison with applicable third-party administrators.
- Develop and generate tracking reports to identify and analyze leave data and trends.
- Identify process improvements to ensure the administration of leave program is managed in an efficient and effective manner.
- Work closely with team members in payroll and the employee service center as needed throughout the leave of absence.
Key Qualifications:
- Associate’s degree required; bachelor’s degree preferred
- 1 – 3 years of experience in benefits or a related field within increasing level of responsibility.
- Knowledge of benefit plan administration and compliance requirements
- Ability to develop strong working relationships with HR Business Partners, cross-functional teams and external vendors.
- Must be proficient in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
Compensation:
For this full-time position working at this location, the anticipated hourly base pay is $25.00 per hour. At Pentair, it is not typical for an individual to be hired near the bottom or top of the pay range. Pentair considers various factors in determining actual compensation for this position at the expected location. Actual compensation will be commensurate with demonstrable level of experience and training, pertinent education including licensure and certifications, work location, and other relevant business or organizational needs.
Position Hours/Schedule:
Monday-Friday, 8am to 4pm. Mandatory in office 3 days a week (Monday and Wednesday are required). Third day in office is optional between Tuesday and Thursday.
