We have an opportunity for a Logistics Specialist to join our Delavan, WI team. You will help manage distribution/logistics activities for the IFT Segment. It will require interaction and collaboration with the Distribution and Logistics team members. This position requires the ability to organize and complete a daily workload. Responsibilities include, working with Pentair Logistics team to file international documents per Compliance requirements and supporting the Distribution team.
You Will
For this full-time position working at this location, the anticipated annualized base pay range will be from $61200 - $113600 / year. At Pentair, it is not typical for an individual to be hired near the bottom or top of the pay range. Pentair considers various factors in determining actual compensation for this position at the expected location. Actual compensation will be commensurate with demonstrable level of experience and training, pertinent education including licensure and certifications, work location, and other relevant business or organizational needs.
This position may be eligible for other forms of compensation such as, annual incentive bonus.

You Will
- Utilize various transportation provider software systems to facilitate documentation printing and upload.
- Helping carriers and logistics department to assure efficient and effective execution of transportation
- Organize and maintain logistics documentation.
- Understand and comply with all state, federal, environmental, safety, and hazardous material regulations as they pertain to transportation.
- Participates in planning sessions and help with projects in support of department objectives.
- Assist as needed in preparing BOL’s and other related documents.
- Drive for efficiency and demonstrate the ability to resolve issues through research and communication skills.
- Demonstrates the capacity to understand department and business objectives.
- Interact with Distribution and assist with Lean Activities such as 5S, Material Flow, cycle counting programs.
- It will require interaction and collaboration with Operations, Buyers, and Distribution. This position requires the ability to prioritize a complex and changing workload to meet project deadlines and cost goals.
- As part of a team, demonstrates initiative and interacts at a professional level.
- Lead claim recovery activities for IF.
- Manage other activities as assigned by the manager.
- High School degree or equivalent
- Comfortable working with Microsoft systems such as, Microsoft Excel, SharePoint, and Outlook.
- SAP knowledge a plus.
- Strong Excel skills to create, organize and maintain data.
- 2 years’ experience in Distribution or Logistics atmosphere preferred.
- Highly self-motivated individual with desire to continue to expand and grow with the organization.
