The Product Support Engineer provides technical support for Engine Electronics, specializing in Electronic Control Modules (ECMs), sensors, and displays, by resolving issues, collaborating with teams and dealers, and updating technical documentation.
Key Responsibilities :
- Troubleshoot electronic issues, identify root causes, and prioritize resolutions with dealers and technical teams.
- Develop and validate fixes for ECMs, sensors, and displays with the CPI team, ensuring technical publications are updated.
- Monitor outcomes and publish solutions and improvements for ECMs, sensors, and displays.
- Collaborate with development, service, and publications teams to integrate ECM, sensor, and display support needs into designs.
- Support dealers, marketing, and engineers with technical product guidance, including field visits and teardowns.
- Address inquiries on product performance from dealers, customers, and Caterpillar staff.
