Pentastar Aviation Staff Accountant
The Staff Accountant will play a pivotal role in supporting the general ledger, financial reporting, and business analytics functions at Pentastar Aviation. This position involves applying principles of accounting to analyze financial information, reconcile accounts, and prepare ancillary reports.
Responsibilities:
- Complete monthly bank reconciliations accurately and efficiently.
- Assist with managed billing and ensure timely payment processing.
- Participate in month-end close procedures, including journal entry preparation and review.
- Analyze daily, month-end, and year-end activity of income statement and balance sheet accounts to ensure the accuracy of the general ledger.
- Prepare and assist with ancillary reporting, such as analyzing business trends, costs, revenues, financial commitments, and obligations.
- Utilize computer technology to support business processes effectively.
