What are the responsibilities and job description for the Data Analyst and Report Writer position at Pentec Health?
Our Data Analyst and Report Writer is primarily responsible for data analysis and report writing in support of ongoing data and report requests across the business. Secondary responsibilities include but are not limited to assisting with maintaining and advancing the company’s data analytics and reporting platform, creating and/or maintaining process jobs, creating and/or maintaining technical documentation, and assisting users where needed and as it relates to data analysis and reporting.

Essential Job Duties
- Interface with internal customers to obtain data, query, and/or report requirements, analyze requirements, and create and/or modify data, queries, and reports.
- Assist with maintaining reporting process jobs and with maintaining the data warehouse and data analytics platforms.
- Collaborate with team to create technical documentation.
- Aid in training end users on the use of Pentec’s modernized data platform.
- Assist with special projects while adhering to Pentec Health Policy and Procedures.
- Other job duties and special projects as assigned.
- 3 years of progressive experience in data analytics and report writing.
- Advanced SQL coding skills including deep understanding of stored procedures, functions and performance tuning.
- In-depth experience with Microsoft Business Intelligence suite and similar tools (SSIS, SSRS, Power BI, Data Factory/MS Fabric, Snowflake).
- Thorough experience with building and maintaining paginated and analytics reports in Power BI or similar tools.
- Comprehensive knowledge of ETL/ELT process development and administration.
- Experience with the design and maintenance of data warehouses and data models for analytical reporting.
- Ability to learn and utilize multiple structured and unstructured data sources to support data analysis.
- Familiarity with data integration and migration processes.
