Base salaries are determined during our interview process, by assessing a candidate’s experience, skills against internal peers and against the scope and responsibilities of the position.
MUST BE ABLE TO COME TO OUR WHITE PLAINS OFFICE 4 DAYS A WEEK FOR INITIAL TRAINING. AFTER THAT, THE ROLE CAN BE FULLY REMOTE.
Reports to: Manager, Distribution Team
Job Summary: Administrator works with Distribution Team to process all types of distributions and manage distribution requests. This position requires excellent analytical abilities, attention to detail, accuracy and problem-solving ability. The position requires the ability to maintain high levels of confidentiality and the ability to work as part of a team, while independently managing accounts with minimal required supervision. Excellent communication skills and a full understanding of the importance of customer service is a must.
Distribution & Loan Processing Responsibilities:
- Maintain and update daily the Distribution & Loan tracking system.
- Review & Process submitted participant requests.
- Prepare appropriate vender/custodian paperwork.
- Run account balance / transaction history reports on vendor websites.
- Calculate participant’s hardship withdrawal amount and Loan amounts.
- Prepare loan amortization schedules and loan notes.
- Ability to read and comprehend plan document provisions and apply to Operational practices.
- Use (and update) Relius to extent necessary to complete distributions.
- Work with multiple Recordkeeper Platforms to review and execute requests on a timely basis.
- Ability to identity and manage distribution requests that are not in good order and communicate with participants and plan sponsor to obtain required information.
- Ability to work with other staff members and Account Managers when needed to process distributions.
Requirements:
- College degree or 2 years of Retirement and/or Benefits experience preferred.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Knowledge of Excel and other Microsoft applications/software
- Strong math, analytical and problem-solving skills
- High level of attention to detail
- High level of service to internal customers and clients alike
- Relius knowledge a plus
- Ability to multitask
- Flexibility to work overtime as needed
