Wage range D.O.E : $28.00 - $32.00 per hour
Core business hours : 8 : 30 am - 5 : 00 pm, (flexibility to work overtime when required)

The Facilities Maintenance Supervisor is responsible for ensuring the safety, security, maintenance, and operation of the building. Is responsible for proposing solutions to meet the company's requirements based upon industry best practices and compliance with all state and federal regulations. Reports to the Director of Supply Chain and Logistics.
Essential Duties :
- Oversee the daily and long-term maintenance and repairs including; plumbing, electrical, HVAC, equipment, roofing, painting, cleaning, and other requests in a Distribution Center / Office environment.
- Supervise
and provide direction to facilities maintenance staff on a daily basis and instruct in the proper and safe methods to perform tasks.
Manage and / or coordinate with outside maintenance contractors, suppliers, government agencies, etc. to ensure compliance with regulations and contracts related to facility maintenance and safety.Ensures the facility meets government regulations, environmental, health, and security standards as well as company requirements.Troubleshoot electrical / mechanical problems with equipment as well as other equipment located in the facility.Monitor the facility to ensure that it remains safe, secure, and well maintained by creating, implementing, and maintaining a thorough schedule to cover all maintenance needs for the Ontario and Torrance facilities.Manage short-term and long-term projects.Manage project plans with architects, engineers, other consultants, general contractors, space planners, furniture and equipment vendors, movers, furniture installers, and local code enforcement officers, and government agencies.Manage the bidding process with vendors, ensuring adherence to corporate policies and standards.Coordinate with IT for network installations and reconfigurations to support construction and relocations.Manage inquiries / complaints in a timely manner by utilizing the Maintenance Work Order system, providing best practices customer service techniques.Develop and maintain maintenance contracts.Report resource and supply costs along with project management on a monthly basis.Responsible for ordering, stocking, organizing, and cleaning of the building, warehouse, office area, outside yard area, parking lot, and equipment.Coordinate with management any problems that may impact any aspect of the facility operations or projects.Prioritize projects and duties, making adjustments as needed to ensure quality and on time completion.Ensure company policies and procedures are followed including those related to safety.Educate and train maintenance personnel in the proper execution of duties.Assist maintenance staff in resolving / trouble-shooting issues. Perform a root cause analysis and put corrective measures in place to prevent future problems.Provide recommendations for processes and procedures improvements and assist or oversee the implementation.Participates in preparing for environmental accidents and emergencies and follows approved plans when incidents occur.Participates in preventing pollution, reducing waste and the use of resources, recycling and reusing materials, and in identifying and using materials that have minimal environmental impact.Regular attendance and punctuality are an essential duty including time managementCONTACTS :

Requirements
Education and / or Experience :
Associate's degree preferred or equivalent work experience.3 years of progressive industry experience working in complex warehouse & distribution environment.Knowledge, Skills and General Abilities :
Complete basic repairs, plumbing, electrical, painting, moving, handy-man skills and understanding of working with outside vendors.Experience and / or expertise in one or more specific areas of facilities or operations preferred.Follows safety procedures, principles, and company safety programs.Certificates, Licenses, Registrations :
