About the Role:
Pentera is growing, and we’re looking for a Financial accountant to take ownership of day-to-day financial operations, reporting, and compliance. This role is perfect for a detail-oriented finance professional with 3-5 years of experience, who thrives in a high-growth, fast-paced environment. You will work closely with senior finance leadership and cross-functional teams to ensure financial accuracy, optimize processes, and support strategic decision-making.
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Manage financial operations, including monthly close, reconciliations, and financial statements.
- Support budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis to help drive financial efficiency.
- Ensure accurate financial reporting in accordance with US GAAP standards.
- Manage the tax filings, audits, and compliance requirements.
- Work with internal teams to optimize financial processes and controls.
- Monitor cash flow, expenses, and cost optimization opportunities.
- Provide financial insights and reports to support business leaders.
- Responsible for the monthly payroll process (Trinet) and commission calculation
- Oversee all the finance activities, including assistance with the collection efforts, partners portals, accounts payables, payment to vendors and credit cards payments.
Requirements:
- 3-5 years of experience in finance, accounting, or financial management, ideally in a tech or SaaS company.
- Strong knowledge of financial statements, reporting, and reconciliations.
- Hands-on experience with ERP systems and strong Excel skills.
- Understanding of the US GAAP and financial compliance standards.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work independently.
- Collaboration with tax advisors in order to ensure compliance
- CPA or equivalent financial certification – an advantage.
