Join our dynamic team at Penthouse650 as an on-call bartender! We are seeking professional and experienced service-oriented individuals to help deliver an exceptional experience at various private events.
In this role, you will provide exceptional bar service during events and banquets, ensuring a positive guest experience while adhering to company policies and state regulations. This is a flexible, on-call position ideal for individuals with a passion for hospitality and/or looking to work a second job for up to 2-8 pre-scheduled shifts per month.
As an on-call banquet bartender, your shifts will be scheduled 7-60 days out and may include evenings & weekends.

Job Responsibilities:
- Provide responsible service of alcohol.
- Prepare and serve a variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages, including specialty cocktails, to guests in a timely and professional manner.
- Follow all state and local laws for serving alcohol.

- Support other areas of the event as needed, including assisting with food service or cleanup.
- Prepare drink orders for guests according to company standard and basic bartending practices.
- Maintain cleanliness and condition of bar
- Maintain tools and other bartending equipment for the duration of your assigned shift
- Document and communicate any incidents/accidents immediately to management during shift or event.
- Stock ice, glassware, and other supplies
- Requisition any necessary supplies
- Set up bar area as indicated on banquet event order
- Keep bar tops and areas cleared of any empty glasses/debris
- Anticipate and communicate guest needs
- Complete end of shift inventories to be submitted with event paperwork
- Secure all alcohol properly at end of shift
- Complete closing duties, including storing all reusable goods, breaking down goods, cleaning equipment and areas, returning equipment to proper locations, locking refrigerators, restocking items
- Perform other related functions that may be assigned.
- Maintain a positive team atmosphere
- Must be willing and have the ability to work a varied schedule that may include evenings, nights, weekends, or commit to scheduled shifts.
- Scheduled in advance & on-call positions available
- Ability to handle, carry and/or lift items up to 40 pounds
- Ability to stand, walk and move around during the entire shift
- Knowledge of beverage ingredients
- Ability to perform job functions with attention to detail, speed and accuracy
- Ability to handle stressful situations in a calm, professional manner
- Must have ability to communicate clearly and directly with guests using a positive, clear speaking voice
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $15.00 - $25.00 per hour
