Summary
As a Painter, you will be responsible for preparing surfaces, applying paint, stains, and coatings, and ensuring a flawless finish. You will work on a variety of interior and exterior projects, maintaining Pentoir’s high standards of craftsmanship and customer satisfaction. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, takes pride in their work, and follows all safety protocols.
Duties and Responsibilities
· Be on time to all jobs, following Pentoir Dress Code and Standards.
· Follow project direction from supervisor/project manager.
· Prepare surfaces for painting by cleaning, sanding, patching, and priming as needed.
· Apply paint, stains, and coatings using brushes, rollers, and spray equipment.
· Work on both interior and exterior painting projects for residential and commercial properties.
· Ensure high-quality finishes with clean lines and smooth surfaces.
· Follow project specifications and timelines to ensure timely completion.
· Maintain a clean and organized work area, including proper storage and disposal of materials.
· Adhere to all safety protocols and guidelines, including the use of PPE.
· Communicate effectively with team members, supervisors, and clients to ensure job expectations are met.
· Inspect completed work for quality and touch up as necessary.
Qualifications
· Prior experience in construction painting is required.
· Excellent communication skills to give and receive direction effectively.
· Ability to work independently and take initiative.
· Bilingual (English/Spanish) is required.
Requirements
· Be available to work from 6:00 AM – 6:00 PM, Monday through Friday. Work hours may vary per week depending on the needs of current ongoing projects.
· Saturday availability may be needed but will be communicated in advance.
· Must have a clean driving record with a valid license and reliable transportation.
· Must be able to pass a criminal background check.
Job Type: Contract
Pay: $17.00 - $20.00 per hour
Expected hours: 30 – 45 per week
Schedule:
- Monday to Friday
- Weekends as needed
