About the Role
We are seeking an enthusiastic Associate Counsel to join our incredibly bright and passionate team. The Associate General Counsel will report to and work closely with the General Counsel, and will assist with all legal aspects of the company.
As a member of our legal department, you'll have the chance to contribute significantly to our company's growth by providing legal counsel, negotiating commercial agreements, supporting M&A transactions, advising on corporate governance, and otherwise gaining hands-on experience in a wide variety of day-to-day legal matters.
Responsibilities:
- Providing basic legal advice and support to senior management on various topics such as contract reviews, intellectual property basics, data privacy, regulatory compliance, employment law, and corporate governance.
- Conducting legal research and identifying and mitigating legal risks, ensuring adherence to laws and regulations under supervision.
- Aiding in the development of legal strategies and processes, and supporting the organization's interests under guidance from experienced professionals.
- Supporting the General Counsel in corporate governance tasks, including the preparation of board resolutions, governance policies, and shareholder agreements.
