People Architects is proud to partner with a well-established machining services firm in Ohio to find a skilled Large Part CNC Programmer/Machinist.
This position involves setting up and operating 2-5 axis turning machines and 3-5 axis machining centers, as well as troubleshooting programs and machining processes.
The ideal candidate will have 5 years of CNC setup and machining experience, with expertise in Fanuc control, G-code, and multi-axis turning centers.
Key Responsibilities:
- Set up and operate complex machinery
- Troubleshoot issues with programming and machining processes
- Work on high-value, low-volume precision components
Requirements:
- 5 years of CNC machining experience
- Strong G-code proficiency (CAD/CAM a plus)
- Ability to read blueprints and interpret drawing features
- Experience with tool offsets and steady rest/tail stock
