Job Description
We are seeking a motivated and results-driven Business Development Manager to drive growth in the federal government contracting space. In this role, you will be responsible for identifying new opportunities, building strategic relationships, and leading business development efforts to expand our federal portfolio.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute a growth strategy for federal government contracts.
- Identify, qualify, and pursue new business opportunities.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, partners, and key stakeholders.
- Lead capture management and proposal development efforts.
- Stay informed on industry trends, market conditions, and competitor activities.
- Attend industry events and networking opportunities to expand the business pipeline.
Requirements:
- 2–4 years of experience in business development and capture management within federal government contracting.
- Experience in professional services and proposal development.
- Strong understanding of federal contracting methods and procurement processes.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, SharePoint, and federal opportunity sourcing tools (SAM.gov, FedConnect, Deltek GovWin).
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
