People Creating Success is looking to hire an experienced Accounting Specialist for our office located in Newbury Park.
In this position you will work with Top Level Management, completing tasks for the day-to-day functions of the department. Qualified candidates will have at least one year of experience in accounting and bookkeeping. Payroll experience is also a plus. We are looking for someone with excellent communication and multitasking skills, attention to detail and the ability to manage time effectively for work completion. This position has the opportunity for growth and promotion within the company.

Job Duties :
Work with accounts payable and receivable
Generate monthly review report
Assist with payroll setup and processing
Prepare and make bank deposits
Ensure compliance with internal accounting procedures
Maintain accurate records
Perform other administrative tasks as needed
Job Requirements :
- High School diploma or equivalent
- BA or BS in a related field preferred
- Accounting experience (1 year preferred)
- Quick Books (1 year preferred)
- Knowledge of ADP and / or Excel is a plus
- Must be able to pass a drug test and criminal background check
