People Creating Success (PCS), a leading provider of support services for adults with developmental disabilities throughout California, is seeking a dedicated and experienced Accounting Assistant to join our team in Newbury Park. This full-time, 40-hour-per-week position offers a valuable opportunity to work closely with top-level management, contributing directly to the daily operations of our accounting department. What you'll do:
- Managing accounts payable and receivable

Generating monthly review reports

Assisting with payroll setup and processing

Preparing and making bank deposits

Ensuring adherence to internal accounting procedures

Maintaining accurate records

Performing other administrative tasks as needed to support the department's efficiency
What you'll need:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- At least one year of accounting experience
- Proficiency in QuickBooks
- Experience with ADP and Excel (preferred)
- Strong communication, multitasking, and time management skills
- Ability to pass a drug test and criminal background check
