People First Employment is looking for a 2nd shift forklift warehouse associate to join our team!
Our partner distributes thousands of products to pet and feed stores, kennels, groomers, trainers, shelters and veterinarians throughout California, Arizona, Nevada, and Hawaii.

Summary: This is a fast paced and physical position. Candidate should have at least 2 year experience in the following equipment: Cherry Picker, Reach Truck, Sit down single forklift and Stand-on Electric Pallet Jack.
Training Schedule: 1st shift…Monday-Thursday 4:30am-2pm and Fridays 5:30am-9:30am…plus possible OT until noon
2nd shift Schedule: Monday-Thursday 2pm-11:30pm plus possible OT and Fridays Noon-4pm plus possible OT until orders are done for Monday.
Pay: $20.00 hr
Responsibilities :
- Process required documents with accuracy within PDC safety and performance requirements.
- Process Inbound orders using RF technology and following PDC standard operation procedures
- Receive and stock inbound orders while noting the quantity and any discrepancies in quantities as well as recording any damages.
- Verify inventory accuracy to make sure it’s the right part and the right quantity
- Unload or load trailers, verify bills of lading, and check for transit damage.
- Monitor and report equipment damages and operational issues to Team Leader.
- Maintain the cleanliness, orderliness, and safety of all areas of the RDC / PDC.
- Train other associates and new hires when necessary.
- Observe all safety rules, quality standards, and follow standard operating procedures for assigned tasks.

The essential functions of this role include :
- working in a smoke free environment
- wearing steel toe shoes
- working in a non-temperature controlled environment

- standing for 8 hours at one time
- Working OT as needed
