Job Description:
As a Teller at People First Federal Credit Union, you are the face of our company, providing exceptional member experiences and delivering high-quality financial services in a friendly and personalized atmosphere.
We are seeking a high-energy, customer-focused individual to join our team. As a Teller, you will be responsible for assisting members with their financial transactions, recommending products and services to help them achieve their financial goals, and maintaining current knowledge of all credit union services, policies, and promotions.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Deliver Exceptional Member Experiences: Actively listen to members' needs through various communication channels, uncovering financial solutions and recommending credit union products and services that support their goals.
- Process Financial Transactions: Receive and process member financial transactions, including deposits, withdrawals, and loan payments; transfer amounts from member accounts as directed.
- Cross-Sell Credit Union Services:
- Balance Cash Drawer and Daily Transactions: Maintain accuracy with minimal errors.
- Perform Miscellaneous Tasks: Keyboarding, filing, computer input, and answering phone calls.

Availability:
- Monday through Thursday: 8:45 AM - 5:30 PM
- Friday: 8:45 AM - 6:00 PM
- Saturday: 8:45 AM - 12:30 PM (rotation)
Qualifications:
- Bilingual (English and Spanish) Skills Required
- High School Diploma or GED Required
- Six to Twelve Months of Teller Experience Preferred
- Contact with Persons Beyond Immediate Associates Regarding Routine Matters
- Ordinary Courtesy in Providing Assistance and Information to Service Members or Vendors
- Good Listening, Communication, and Computer Skills
- Able to Make Decisions with Minimal Information
- General Office Equipment, Including Computers, Copiers, and Scanners
- Thorough Knowledge of Established Credit Union Procedures and Policies
- Maintains Confidentiality Related to Credit Union Operations and Work-Related Information
