Building & Grounds Support Team
Full-Time - 1st shift hours
17-$19 per hour
Full-Time Building and Grounds Support Team Member; responsibility for routine and general upkeep of building maintenance, grounds and facilities. This is an hourly position and scheduled 40 hours per week, evenings and weekends may be required.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Reporting directly to the Supervisor of Building & Grounds, duties include, but are not limited to :
- Performing general building repair and preventative maintenance. Functions would include cleaning of cooling towers and boilers, performing work orders repairs for departments, and assisting in other work projects as assigned.
- Cleaning, painting, and making small repairs of galleries and spaces as required.
- Assist in cleaning facilities including bathrooms and offices as needed.
- Performing seasonal work duties such as winter shoveling and salting of walkways and steps, spring, and summer lawn mowing, weed removal, and bush trimming.
- Assist electricians and maintenance technicians as needed.
- Assist the Facility Support Team division with pick-ups from the warehouses and event set-ups.
- Support the Horticulturalist in grounds work as needed.
- Other duties as assigned.
- Please note this position is considered essential and will be on call for emergencies as needed.
