Summary
: The Customer Services Specialist (CSS) will assist facilities, providers, and clients with transportation requests and services. This role requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, patience, and a good understanding of agency agreements, including those with tribal agencies, substance abuse providers, and other service partners. The CSS will also manage client mileage reimbursements, process post-verification of client appointments, and address inquiries related to reimbursements. This position will also assist with calls from clients for transportation and related services
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent (required), two years college, business, communications, or social work or related field preferred.
- Previous experience in customer service, or healthcare coordination, is a plus.
- Experience working with vulnerable populations or individuals with medical needs is an advantage.
- Employment is contingent upon successfully completing and passing a Pre-employment Drug Screen and a Washington State Patrol Background Check and/or National Background Check, Reference Checks and all other required documents
- Occasional evening or weekend work may be required depending on department meetings/trainings/event schedules
- May be required to attend meetings via video conference such as Zoom, Teams or other software
- May be required to travel to attend meetings/seminars in other locations throughout Washington State
Starting Wage: $18.51/Hour plus a comprehensive benefits package
