Compensation: $160k - $190K base equity

Our client is developing a generative AI platform that significantly reduces design iteration cycles, allowing global brands to move from concept to production with unprecedented efficiency. They are seeking a Machine Learning Engineer to join their founding team in Midtown Manhattan and help push the boundaries of generative modeling and computer vision.

What You’ll Do

• Generative Model Development: Research, train, and deploy diffusion models, GANs, and other deep learning architectures for high-resolution image synthesis.
• Computer Vision & Image Processing: Enhance image segmentation, object detection, and inpainting techniques to improve design automation.
• End-to-End ML Deployment: Build and optimize scalable ML pipelines, model serving infrastructure, and real-time inference systems to support seamless user interactions.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with product, design, and engineering teams to integrate AI-driven workflows into real-world design tools.
• Research & Experimentation: Stay at the forefront of generative AI, self-supervised learning, and multimodal models, and implement new techniques to keep the platform state-of-the-art.

About You

• 3 years of experience in deep learning and generative modeling, with a strong foundation in diffusion models, GANs, or VAEs.
• Proficiency in PyTorch or TensorFlow, with experience fine-tuning and deploying large-scale generative models.
• Strong software engineering skills, including experience with MLOps, model versioning (Git), and scalable deployment (Docker, Kubernetes, or similar frameworks).
• Familiarity with computer vision tasks, such as image segmentation, object detection, or feature extraction.
• On-Site Availability: Must be based in NYC (five days a week).
• Startup Mindset: Comfortable working in a fast-paced, highly iterative environment where experimentation and collaboration are key.
