Overview
The Junior Programmer Analyst supports the maintenance and enhancement of our payment processing and EDI (Electronic Data Interchange) applications. Helps modernize and support critical business applications.
Essential Functions & Responsibilities
- Assist in the development, testing, and support of internal payment processing and EDI applications.
- Troubleshoot application issues and help identify root causes and solutions.
- Modify, maintain, and improve code written in C#, VB.NET, Python, and SQL.
- Collaborate with senior developers and business stakeholders to understand functional and technical requirements.
- Participate in deployment and integration tasks, including testing and validation of new features or fixes.
- Document changes, processes, and procedures as needed.
- Other duties as assigned.
Supervisory Responsibilities
This position has no supervisory responsibilities.
Minimum Qualifications/Requirements
- Minimum one year experience in a developer or programmer/analyst role (internship, contract, or full-time).
- Experience working with or around EDI or financial/payment systems preferred.
- College coursework in Computer Science or related field preferred.
- Comfortable writing and understanding code in C#, VB.NET, Python, and SQL.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
- Good communication skills and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
