Make a difference in the lives of people with disabilities in our social work based Behavior Program! Sample Supports is seeking therapists and clinicians of diverse backgrounds to join our Behavior Services Team to provide counseling, consultation, and assessment services to at-risk adults with disabilities. Our clinicians have options for flexible schedules, private and furnished offices for site based sessions, and virtual caseloads. Minimum B.A. in human services or related fields required .At Sample Supports we believe that by supporting our employees, our employees will in turn provide the best care to the people we serve. Bachelor's degree or above in relevant field is required (Human Services or equivalent)Must have reliable transportation, a valid driver's license, and a willingness to transport individuals in services in your vehicleIn order to provide transportation, the candidate must be 18 years of age or older.
Able to perform the physical demands of the position may include but are not limited to :Physically intervening with at-risk adults that pose a safety threat to themselves or others utilizing NVCI-approved techniques,
Working with unpredictable and aggressive individuals and may be expected to be alone with them in the community or in their homes, andMaintaining calm and professionally intervening with people with disabilities during escalated / crisis moments.If this sounds new or unfamiliar that's okay!
