UI/UX Designer Location: 6021 142nd Ave N, Clearwater, FL 33760 (Remote Possible) Employment Type: Full-time, Permanent (40 hours/week) Benefits: Eligible Summary: We are seeking a UI/UX Designer to support the development of new and existing software solutions. Primarily designing UI/UX for web and mobile applications, you will work closely with the developers to ensure an effective user-friendly experience and professional design. This position requires expertise in understanding the various users and their unique roles within the applications to design efficient and aesthetically pleasing user flows. The ideal candidate has experience designing complex user interfaces for web applications organizing an overwhelming array of features in an easily consumable layout.Responsibilities
Essential Duties and Responsibilities: - Design wireframes, prototypes, storyboards and mockups based on application requirements. - Identify design problems and devise elegant solutions. - Make strategic design and user-experience decisions related to core and new functions and features. - Take a user-centered design approach and rapidly test and iterate your designs. - Collaborate with other team members and stakeholders. - Create and maintain SharePoint and WordPress content. Qualifications: - 3 years of experience designing complex solutions with preference given to candidates with experience designing medical applications used by patients and medical personnel. - Expertise in standard UX design software such as Balsamiq, Figma, Sketch, or Photoshop. - Experience with HTML5, CSS3 and JavaScript. - Experience with .Net MVC Razor is preferred but not required. - Ability to clearly and effectively communicate design processes, ideas and solutions. - Experience creating and maintaining SharePoint and WordPress content is a plus but not required. Education and/or Experience: - Bachelor’s degree in computer science or similar discipline is preferred but not required. Certificates, Licenses, Registrations: Not required, nice to have. Computer Skills: - Proficiency in Microsoft Office Applications (Outlook, Word, Excel, Teams). Environmental Factors/Physical Demands: Work is performed in an office. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to have the ability to maintain active customer and employee communication; access, input and retrieve information from the computer system; enter alpha-numeric data into a computerized system often while listening on the telephone.
