People's Alliance Federal Credit Union is looking for a new Member Service Representative who will assist our members with all banking needs including but not limited to: answering questions about accounts, opening new accounts/CD’s, online banking assistance, going over loan/account information as well as anything else that may come up in the course of business. Employee will be located in Hauppauge, NY
Responsibilities include:
· Service members in a courteous and efficient manner
· Open new accounts/CD’s
· Assist members with online banking and account questions
· Answer member phone calls with excellent phone etiquette
· Make contact with members regarding loan applications
· Establishes and maintains relationships with members while adhering to high service standards
· Cross-sell credit union products to all members
Position Requirements:
· Banking and/or strong customer service experience is necessary
· Effective interpersonal and problem solving skills
· Ability to work in a high volume customer service environment
· Familiarity in the use of a PC and a working knowledge of MS word and excel
· Outgoing personality and work well with others
· High school graduate or equivalent
· Bi-lingual is required (English/Spanish)
Branch hours: Mon.-Thurs. 8:30-4:00, and Friday 8:30-6:00, Sat. 8:30-2:00.
