Position Summary
Process loan transactions on mortgage, commercial, and consumer loans. Responsible for the less complex aspects of loan maintenance. Maintain Loan Servicing accounts and provide loan servicing support to all internal and external members.
Essential Responsibilities and Accountabilities
Loan Processes
- Processes a variety of loan transactions, such as payoffs, payment reversals, skip a pay, waive fees and posting of loan payments (Alacriti)
- Contact Event transaction processing
- Back up for the quality control function
Loan Servicing Systems and Functions
- Books and funds all Residential Mortgage, Home Equity Loan, Home Equity Line, and Commercial Loan transactions
- Performs monthly reconciliations on GL accounts and house accounts
- Performs loan maintenance as required and payoff information
- Construction portfolio – handles all processes relating to a mortgage loan in the construction phase
- Processes auto loan lien releases and understands general guidelines for lien perfection
- Maintains various insurance reports to ensure lien holder is perfected and for adequate coverage
- Reviews insurance reports and forced placed insurance
- Responsible for paying out monthly insurance premiums from escrow accounts
- Reviews weekly collateral tracking report
- Processes new charge-off loan requests
Loan Maintenance
- Manages and services end-to-end simple functions of loan servicing
- Performs loan maintenance on all consumer, mortgage, and commercial loans as required
- Maintenance and reconciliation of accounts related to Loan Servicing
Loan Servicing Support
- Provides assistance to branch personnel with all aspects of lending, including policy, procedure, proper documentation, and technical support
- Offers support to the Loan Servicing team by learning other aspects of servicing
- Responsible for the upkeep of processes and procedures within Loan Servicing

Knowledge and Skills
- High School diploma or equivalent
- 6 months to 2 years of experience in lending practices and procedures
- Good oral and written communication skills
- Strong mathematical and organizational skills
- Working knowledge of Word and Excel
- Ability to perform multiple tasks concurrently meeting required deadlines
ADA Requirements
Physical Requirements
- Perform primarily sedentary work with limited physical exertion and regularly lifting of up to 10 lbs.
- Must be capable of climbing / descending stairs in emergency situation.
- Must be able to operate routine office equipment.
- Must be able to routinely perform work on computer for an average of 6-8 hours per day.
- Must be able to work additional hours whenever required or requested by management.
- Must be capable of regular, reliable, and timely attendance.
Working Conditions
- Must be able to routinely perform work indoors in climate-controlled shared work area with minimal noise.
