- Must be able to speak, read, and write English clearly.
- Drive a transit bus or vehicle in a safe, courteous, and reliable manner throughout the service area within a daily assigned time schedule.
- Perform daily pre/post trip vehicle inspections as required.
- Provide Door to Door service to each individual.
- Assist in the boarding of passengers using wheelchairs or other mobility aids and properly secure wheelchairs and scooters
- Notify dispatch of any accidents, passenger incidents, medical/behavioral problems, or bus mechanical/electrical trouble.
- Collect noted fares from customers
- Advise passengers of rules and regulations when necessary
- Complete and submit written reports concerning passengers and all accidents
- Operate on board MDT computer system.
- Must be able to pass a Level II Federal background check and a DOT Physical
- 120 hours of paid training
- Must be a least 21 years of age
- Available to work holidays
- Must be able to work on Weekends
