Overview:
We are seeking a reliable and skilled Paint Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for painting semi-truck frames and spraying bed liners. This role requires strong attention to detail and proper paint application techniques.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare the surfaces that need to be painted on, such as trucks, trailers, frames, etc., and polish painted surfaces.
- Mix paint according to specifications.
- Select and mix coating liquid to produce the desired color.
- Paint the surface using a sprayer or brush as appropriate.
- Buff and polish painted surfaces to achieve a high gloss, remove overspray, and inspect for defects.
- Maintain tools and keep equipment clean and in the proper state of repair.
- Keep the work area clean.
- Follow proper safety procedures when handling hazardous materials like paint and solvents, including wearing appropriate PPE.
- Other tasks as assigned.
