Job Responsibilities
The Elementary PE Teacher/Athletic Director will be responsible for teaching physical education classes to elementary students. This includes designing engaging lesson plans, providing ongoing formative feedback, and analyzing student progress. Additionally, the Athletic Director will coordinate school athletic events, manage inventory, and ensure facility preparation.
Required Skills and Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you will need a bachelor's degree in a related field and a current Oregon teaching license with applicable endorsement. Experience teaching or coaching is preferred. You should have excellent communication skills, be able to work effectively with parents and colleagues, and possess a genuine passion for teaching and coaching.
