Description
Position Title: Data and Information Systems Lead
Location: Doral, FL
Clearance level required: Secret
Responsibilities (including but not limited to):
- The Data and Information Systems Lead shall be accountable for ensuring IT and cyber systems are operationally relevant, data-centric, and integrated into USSOUTHCOM decision support frameworks at the echelon of command.
- Establish a seamless, interoperable, accessible, and resilient data bus (i.e., common storage location) for the EIE.
- Ensure all new services and capabilities are data-centric and integrated into the data bus.
- Ensure data is stored in an industry-standardized, platform-agnostic method not bound by proprietary hardware and software and shareable mission partner information systems.
- Develop, maintain, and institutionalize common data interface specifications for all information systems.
- Provide data asset information to enable the U.S. Government to populate mission-aligned federated data catalogs.
Qualifications
- Be skilled at delivering seamlessly integrated information systems and technology characterized by an intuitive UX (i.e., the right users can access the right data at the right time, for the right reason.
- Possess experience with increasing and maintaining IT and cyber systems performance as required by mission.
- Possess a Secret level security clearance.
