Description
Position Title: SIPRNET Network and Computer System Administrator Advanced
Location: El Segundo, CA
Clearance Level Required: Top Secret
Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
- Ensure the LAAFB network infrastructure and IT systems are operational and available and comply with the Department of Defense (DoD) and AF enterprise architecture.
- Maintain all aspects of the NIPRNet and SIPRNet as well as associated equipment to include but not be limited to, e.g., switches, routers, servers, data storage systems, data back-up and recovery systems, and back-up power systems and devices.
- Perform a root cause analysis in conjunction with the Government to determine the mission impact of network events discovered during monitoring or notification from higher level system and network enterprise managers.
- Assist Functional System Administrators (FSAs) with software services for functional applications. Software services shall include install, uninstall, configure, upgrade, and patching of software applications and operating systems.
Qualifications
- A BS degree in Information Technology, Cybersecurity, Data Science, Information Systems, or Computer Science, from an ABET accredited or CAE designated institution.
- Certification: FITSP-O or GFACT or CASP or CCNP Security or CCSP.
