Job Position: Assistant Executive Director of Wellness Services
Location: Kingston, NY
Work Schedule: Monday to Friday - 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM
Salary/Pay: $90,000 to $95,000 per year/ Salary Exempt
Job Summary & Responsibilities:
Direct oversight of all Operations for Wellness Services. Drive outcome management, quality improvement, and department development.

Job Summary & Responsibilities:
Direct oversight of all Operations for Wellness Services. Drive outcome management, quality improvement, and department development.
Serve as the internal leader for Wellness Services:
- Managing annual operations plans and budgets for wellness Services
- Leading performance management processes that measure and evaluate progress against goals for the department
- Providing for all staff a strong day-to-day leadership presence
- Conducting regular operational reviews and audits ensuring highest quality care delivery within the department
- Ensuring the department adheres to policies, internal controls, standards, and procedures.
- Ensuring that the department is adhering to contractual obligations and strategic initiatives
- Setting Departmental goals and metrics (KPIs) to meet or exceed performance expectations.
- Developing and implementing plans to improve departmental effectiveness and efficiency.
- Providing guidance to staff in resolving operational issues, updates, ideas, and problems.
- Promoting a culture of high performance and continuous improvement that values learning and commitment to quality.
- Promoting the mission and values of the organization internally and externally
- Ensuring staff members receive timely and appropriate training and development.
- Mentoring and developing staff using a supportive and collaborative approach: assigning accountabilities, setting objectives, establishing priorities, and monitoring & evaluating results.
- Conducting annual performance appraisals.
- Increasing the effectiveness and efficiency of wellness services through improvements to each function (HR, IT, Finance) as well as coordination and communication between functions.
- Ensuring that programs/services comply with all relevant regulatory, licensing, and credentialing requirements—including program compliance with internal policies, procedures, and processes;
- Directing incident reporting, investigations, and review processes and other internal and external compliance requirements as appropriate.
- Oversight, maintenance, updates, and supervision of electronic health record system and team.
- Plan and coordinate programmatic goals and objectives as per agency contracts.
- Provide co-leadership and co-supervision for program staff, including training, coaching, and performance evaluation.
- Monitor programmatic outcomes and compile outcomes data regularly.
Submit outcome reports to funding sources as per agency contracts in a timely manner. - Develop and measure on-going quality improvement processes and practices
Job Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in a related human services field preferred.
- Minimum of 4 to 5 years supervisory experience and working with individuals with mental health, addiction, and trauma.
- 4 to 5 years experience in non-profit organization
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Applications.
